COMMUNICATION & CONTINUITY

A clear plan.
People you can turn to.

Know your contacts, review points and options if plans change.

Your contacts

Traveling Tutors remains your coordination contact. The tutor teaches within the agreed brief. Before the stay, we clarify responsibilities, contact availability and the scope of any ongoing management.

Check-ins and progress

Agree an early check-in, proportionate review points and any closing summary. Parents or their representative should know who to contact between reviews.

If something needs to change

Tell your agreed contact what is not working. The next step may be a discussion with the tutor, a timetable adjustment or a revised brief. Changes to hours, scope or charges are agreed first.

Absence or a different tutor

If the tutor is unavailable or unsuitable, we review the options with you. These may include rearranged sessions or another tutor. Replacement, cancellation and fees follow the agreed terms; immediate cover is not guaranteed.

Extensions and handover

Raise new dates or locations early so availability, travel and costs can be checked. Agree any end-of-stay summary or school handover before the placement ends.
